Preventive Maintenance Checks for Screens:

  • - Coverage: The service covers preventive measures for viewing mechanisms unless the issue results from accidental or intentional damage.
  • - Installation Service: Includes one-time reinstallation during the program period for the same products, provided a Black Box technician originally installed them. Transportation costs from the original location to the new one are not included.
  • - Pixel Burn Warranty: Covers pixel burn based on the manufacturer’s guidelines.
  • - Repairs and Preventive Maintenance: The program includes all repairs and preventive maintenance mentioned in the services, except for products with different conditions outlined in the additional services card. Devices must be brought to Black Box service centres at the user's expense.

 

Replacement or Maintenance for Screens:

  • - Replacement Decisions: Based solely on technical diagnosis and the technician’s recommendation.
  • - Service Duration: Maintenance requests are completed within 30 days; if this period is exceeded, the device will be replaced.
  • - Data Loss Disclaimer: Data on the device may be lost during repair or replacement.
  • - Original Receipts: Replacement or maintenance requires all original receipts, including proof of payment for the service.

 

Customer Responsibilities:

  1. - Precautions: Always take measures to protect the device from damage.
  2. - Report Damage Promptly: Contact Black Box immediately to report any issues.
  3. - Remove Personal Settings: Before service, erase usernames, passwords, email accounts, or installed apps on the protected device.
  4. - Backup Data: Take a backup of all data before submitting the device for repair or replacement.

 

Replacement Terms:

Specifications: Replacement devices will have the same or higher specifications based on availability.

 

Service Period:

  • - Coverage Start Date: Service begins on the purchase date of the original product as indicated in the invoice.
  • - Factory Warranty: This service complements, not replaces, the manufacturer’s warranty and provides additional benefits after the warranty expires.

 

Service Application Procedure:

Device Submission: Bring the device to Black Box branches. If unavailable in your city, ship the device to the nearest branch at your expense.

 

Recurring Maintenance Policy:

After three repairs for the same fault within 12 consecutive months, if a fourth identical issue occurs as determined by the Black Box Service Center, the device will be replaced with a new one or one with higher specifications (based on availability).

 

General Exceptions:

  • - Outside Repairs: Repairs or replacements made outside Black Box void the agreement.
  • - Accidental or External Damage: Includes wear, tear, rust, moisture condensation, minor scratches, and non-screen breakage.
  • - Misuse: Damage from extreme temperatures, voltage changes, or improper use.
  • - Accessories: Remote controls, adapters, batteries, headphones, external cables, and consumables are not covered.
  • - Software Issues: System failures, operating system errors, virus damage, or issues from installed applications that prevent the device from functioning.
  • - Intentional Damage, Loss, or Theft.
  • - Negligence: Damage from improper storage, installation, or configuration unless authorized by a service representative.
  • - Cosmetic Damage: Paint defects or scratches.
  • - Commercial Use: Service is void for devices used for rental or commercial purposes.

 

Manufacturer Responsibilities:

  • - Factory Warranty: Spare parts and services covered by the factory warranty remain the manufacturer’s responsibility.
  • - Spare Parts Supply: During the program period, the local authorized dealer is responsible for providing spare parts for repairs.

 

Service Availability:

  • - Customers purchasing additional services will receive a response within 72 hours from Black Box receiving the maintenance request.
  • - If repairs are not completed within 30 days of receiving the product, the device will be replaced with a new one.

 

Cancellation Policy:

  • - Fraud or Misrepresentation: Service will be cancelled in cases of fraud, commercial use, or unauthorized repairs.
  • - Unauthorized Repairs: Repairs conducted outside Black Box Service Centers or by unauthorized technicians void the service.
  • - Refund Window: The program can be cancelled within seven days of purchase.
